Rainbow Parrot Fish

Kingdom: Animalia The rainbow fish is the biggest herbivorous fish in the Atlantic, with males developing to lengths of 1.2 meters. As the term proposes, they are attractively coloured fish with profound green bodies. The appendages are orange with flashes of green encompassing centrifugally on the way to the back and tail. There are two forms of males initial phase fellows are drab in colour and related in attendance to females, whereas terminal phase males are glowingly coloured. Related with coral reef at depths – 3 to 25 metres and at night rainbow migrated into crevices. Juveniles have a tendency to occur in mangroves adjacent to the reef. The mangroves is most necessary nursery areas, provide food-rich and predator free safe havens for the growing young. These fish freely accept aquarium fare and as they are omnivores group. The fish will eat all inds of live, fresh and flake foods. A pellet food is one kind of fine diet food.
